Usually, if a guy is a hardcore alkie, that's all he'll consume as far as calories are concerned. On occasion they'll take in a salad, or whatever, but if they're hardcore boozers, they'll do anything to get their fix much like a junkie does heroin. Everything is about that next drink.
One guy I was in a band with, had a six pack, but was bloated all to hell. Distended stomach and all like he was taking 100iu's of GH EOD. He'd buy a container of Gatorade and dump all but a few ounces out, just to color the booze he had in the bottle. Then he'd puke while playing in Denver at the high altitudes and say it's because he performs so hard. But he'd spend every last dime he had to get that next drink.
If they're only drinking and doing a lot of activity, it's possible to be ripped. But they won't be like Ronnie or Dorian holding 300lbs in contest condition either.
