i have 4 bulging discs in my lower back, and all the upper body weight was taking it's toll.  so after 30 years of trying to build muscle, i spent the last year and a bit trying to lose alot of it to take the strain off the lower back.

i had it coming, haha. i was an idiot for a lot of years. motocross crashes, jumping off roofs, trying to pick up cars, etc. it was hurt bad before i was a teen.  add decades of heavy squatting  and back training and it was lucky i made it as long as i did.  with this last year and a bit off, it is the best it has ever been, but if i move wrong i'll still hit the floor like a sack of potatoes.

the prize $ wouldn't matter... BSN could have a really major ad campaign going on for it.  Ronnie gets way more from them than he would get onstage.

Plus, imagine if he fixes up the tears and scoops top 3, knocking dexter or phil on their ass.  unlikely, but it could happen.  Would set up 2010 to be even better.

If those pinched nerves of his have healed and he can get himself back in top shape, he's got a chance to get his title back. Granted, he'd be bucking history, as no one who's ever lost the Mr. Olympia title on stage has been able to get it back.

Plus, another former champion, Jay Cutler, will be looking to reach the summit once more.

Ronnie is done.....

he should have RETIRED completely in 2006 when he lost 1st time, at least he could leave competitive bbing huge and shredded and do some guest posings instead.
