You have no idea how cocky Franco was (is) even in 1989 he did a mini guess pose on Mr.O stage just shirt off anyways and he said back stage after Haney won his 6 th mr.O " no matter how great this BB are, we (Arnold and him) will always be in charge of this sport"......

So no way in hell Franco was too lose in 81, good thing he retired after, it could have been much worse if he didnt".
