It's remarkable that the Olympia and Weider were taken seriously after debacles like this. Which is why Padilla and most of the top guys left or retired around that time, including Robinson, Szkalak, Mentzer, Padilla and later Fox after '83 when he should have won the Olympia that year based on what was brought to stage, and of course Oliva and Nubret who didn't bother, already quite versed with the BS. Calendar was immense and cut, saw him pose around that time. Platz was also better than Columbu of course. All robbed by this garbage.
Essentially Weider watered down his own product with this and could've made BB a whole lot more interesting post-Arnold by actually letting the most deserving guys win and create long-lasting rivalries that were snuffed out by this crap.
