I once had this really hot girl join my gym and up until 2 weeks later when I finally got it, I was dying to get her phone number. Does that count?

Its funny because this guy goes around the gym telling everyone he flatlined, asystole, and the defibrillator saved his life and the papers picked that up.  There is a big article hanging in the gym that says FLATLINED with his story.
Next time I hear him tell his story I will correct him.

I appreciate it......my heart goes out to his family, but in all honesty (and selfishly) my heart is broken for my sister....she's a tough young woman, but I don't know how she's dealing as well as she is.

Again, thanks.

You don't induce electrical stimulation during a "flatline"or asystole, only in ventricular fib, FYI.

lol. I remember being lectured about studies that had been done on the perceptions of myocardial infarctions. Males and females were both more likely to use more dramatic words such as "massive heart attack" when describing when a male had a myocardial infarction. Sounds like this guy did just that

it has something to do with the human ego i think, they don't want to believe or don't want others to believe that a "small" heart attack
could have ended their life  :-\

Yeh, but when referring to females who had an MI they didn't tend to use such violent language. Pretty interesting

curious...why do people die on the treadmills and elipticals but not in the squat rack?

Bro,
Cause the ones who die on the squat rack bro go to Valahalla and their lifting belt is then thrown on a giant pyre and every year the giant mound of lifting gear is burned in honor and a sacred oath is uttered to never talk about the fallen in public.

Honestly, say you were at the gym at midnight only people working out are you and some old dude, and he drops, as a getbigger would you even do anything?  Or would you continure your workout while sipping on your Muscletech drink in order to gain 127% more muscle?

Plus we couldn`t be 100 percent that his seizure was just simply a poor Kai Greene posing imitation.  Might wanna leave that one alone.
