Abortion and reading your posts is a million time worse than that. Here's an example. If something happend to a family member and people knew about it and didn't tell me, you can bet your ass the torture I would induce would make that seem like a day in park. Get it?

plenty of torture taking place in American prisons against Americans, once thats taken care of we should look into the torture of those who would like to see us all die, then again that doesnt make too good of a news story since the CIA is not involved in those

Coach, you really should try to broden your horizons.

What if it was your family that got "the royal treatment" by someone, (like the government perhaps) who did it in the interest of the "common good". And what if your family were innocent to the accusations? You do know that innocent people get tortured?

Coach, I'm not sure if you're a Christian (don't get me started on that...), I remember reading it somewhere. If you are, you sure got some interesting views.  :)

Prolonged stress by standing and nudity? Sleep deprivation? Exposure to cold temperature/cold water? Restricted solid food?

Torture? Just a typical day of Navy Seal training. I thought you meant Hanoi Hilton type stuff? Or even mafia breaking of knee caps and cutting off fingers and ears? Remember the testimony of the woman in a North Korean prison where the cell was so small she couldn't even stand? She spent her hours staring at her shithole hoping that a rat would pop it's head out so she could catch it and eat it. Then there's Saddam's rape rooms and torture chambers where your balls are electrocuted and tongues and limbs are cut out.

We "Americanos" better toughen up if we hope to win a war against people who can live in cages and eat scorpions.

the problem with allowing torture to be used is that for all the noble ideals that might be behind its first uses when legalized, like fighting terroists, finding pedos etc is that soon enough people will be being tortured for stealing bread, being part of teh wrong political party etc,,,

its a fine line to cross and once its done legally and openly this country will never be the same, we'll be no different than the former Soviets or the Chinese.

the geneva conventions will never last------they have been around for only a blink of an eye in terms of human warring

it is our nature to war and with more people than ever on the planet and resources becoming tighter than ever, people will do what comes instinctively, kill. 

maybe our great drive to kill and war with each other is some general trigger of the collective human consciousness to control the population from spiralling out of control and destroying us all.
