Ahh yes, because it's much worse than all the torture chambers in the basements of mosques they found in Iraq, where the blood soaked walls, bloody swords, electrical equipment and mass graves full of bodies showing extreme torture pale in comparison to depriving someone of sleep. Nevermind the dozens of beheading videos, execution videos, killings of women and children in massive car bombings, etc.

I can only imagine the responses we would get if we started posting videos of US soldiers beheading terrorists on the internet.  ::)

The case didn't go to jury in the movie.  Nicholson was arrested on the spot after he stated that he ordered the torture - Code Red.

The end of that movie was sickening.  I think the play ends that way too.  Too fucking neat and too feel good.

Yeah, you're right. I'm embarrassed to admit I despised Jessup when I first saw it years ago, and thought he got what he deserved. He makes much more sense now.

When China, Cuba, the entire middle east and Africa, all of South America, North Korea, Russia and England stop torturing political dissidents, I'll shed a tear for a bunch of cockroach terrorist maniacs. When the Geneva conventions apply to all countries equally, I'll be the first one calling for Bush's head on a platter. Everyone wants security, but nobody wants to know how it is earned.
