Who would you like in the HOF next year?

I know a lot of people crap on it, but i think it's a cool thing and the inductees seem to really appreciate it. I'd like Ted Dibiase, Road Warriors, Jake the Snake, Backlund, and Tully Blanchard. Sammartino won't get in beacause he hates Vince, and who knows with Savage.

Is DiBiase not already in there? I want Randy Savage to be next.

no, he inducted Sherri in 2006 but hasn't gotten in himself.

If Vince can "kiss & make up" with Hogan, Bret, Austin, Piper, etc., I think Macho & Sammartino stand a chance.
It's a matter of whether they are willing to accept ammends.

There have been a lot of guys Vince has sworn he'd never again do business with, and most of them eventually end up back in the Fed.

That's true but a lot of these guys already made their money and don't need to be back in the WWE. Savage, Hogan, DiBiase all made millions upon millions of dollars. I would like to see Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart bury the hatchet. They both need to realize that it was Vince who was behine the screwjob. The others involved were basically doing what they were told. In real life when your boss says do something, you will do it. Failing to do so will get you canned.

True - they made their money, but egos never die.

Well I'm not sure that KOKO should be in there Watts too for that matter. I think maybe be that Watts and Kevin Von Erich got put in the HOF because they sold their TV footage rights to the WWE from their former promotions.

I would love to see Jake The Snake, Million Dollar Man, Randy Savage just to name a few.

According to PWI, Randy Savage has turned down all hall of fame offer and wants nothing to do with McMahon.

According to the news section on Macho's web site, he didn't even plan to attend the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame, even though they were inducting him anyway.

He's probably just enjoying life. Made his coin and couldn't care about the HOF. I would like to see him in there too, but...

It’s good to finally see a former headliner not trying to hang on past his prime in a pathetic attempt to cling to – or recapture – his 15 min. of fame.

It’s one thing to do it because you enjoy it, but it’s sad when you “need” it.
A lot of guys make millions of $$ during a relatively short career and retire with nothing.
Some can’t cope with no longer being in the spotlight.

Sounds like Savage is smarter than all of them.

It seems like they have on "big name" i.e. Austin, Hogan, Flair and work around that which is smart IMO. The only really huge guys that they haven't put in that aren't active that i can think of are Sammartino, Savage, Rock, Warrior, and maybe Backlund.

That's extreme, but it shows the kind of person he was when it came to managing finances.

Last I heard, Tony and his wife are living very comfortably in Florida and golf almost everyday, as they belong to one – or several – of the area’s premier country clubs.
