Lets face the facts, blacks and most other ethnic groups dont get along. I know some people are going to say oh the presidents black but lets be honest he is mixed ethnicity. If he was a dark skin black man with a wide nose you and i both know he would not have been voted in as president.

I know that us black people cause alot of our own problems and we need to take care of them instead of blaming others. But what would happen if white people were to stop hiring black people,not sell us cars,motorcycles food ect we would be fucked completley. So in reality black peoples success actually relies on white people and to me that is a bad thing.

just answer the question. i know black people would be fucked without technology and science which is al made by whites or east asians and i think more black need to get into these professions just in case whites or asians pull the plug on us

No, we wouldn't because America recognized the most important color...GREEN. You have money businesses will take it. That is one of the main reasons you see "Si Habla Espanol" signs in windows and on ads, because they want the money and the patronage.

If anything, America will probably be like Brazil.

I never spoke to a black person till i was 15.

It used to be unusual until 10 years ago to see any foreigners, blacks, asians etc

yes i do have alot of issues but i also got points of view on the world that may be differnt to yours and im happy with that. Some people on this message board who are white say whats really on their minds and in their harts about black people but they would not say those things in real life because they know there would be a backlash.

Madmax, if you want to segregate yourself go ahead. But we all need everybody. That is the way it is. And there is no such thing as true segregation in America, how do you think Malcolm X had light eyes and red hair? As a matter of fact the majority of blacks who went to clloege during the turn of the 20th century were mulattoes. As it probably will be in 10-15 yrs.

Black people can focus on their own issues without physically segregating themselves. Just like Jews, Koreans, etc.

So you have issues about being dark skinned? That is the root of the problem. As Q-tip would say, "Black is Black". You have allowed yourself to be segregated by your skin tone. And therefore have used that as a crutch to feel inferior.

Seems to me that if left alone, and not legislated on, people WILL always segregate based on ethnicity/skin color. You have to legislate against segregation or it WILL happen.

People prefer to be in an us/them situation.

I remember in college I had to take a sociology class, it was pretty horrible (just blame whitey for everything basically). One lecture was about segregation and how awful America is for its segregated past... All the minorities in the class were really outspoken about the evils of racial separation. Right after class in the dining hall you couldn't help but notice that the same students who were so adamantly opposed to segregation all sat in segregated groups: blacks with other blacks, hispanics with other hispanics, Asian with other Asians, etc. They didn't seem to be bothered by segregation they were practicing.

Much as we don't like to admit it we all tend to prefer being around people who are like ourselves.
