I remember in college I had to take a sociology class, it was pretty horrible (just blame whitey for everything basically). One lecture was about segregation and how awful America is for its segregated past... All the minorities in the class were really outspoken about the evils of racial separation. Right after class in the dining hall you couldn't help but notice that the same students who were so adamantly opposed to segregation all sat in segregated groups: blacks with other blacks, hispanics with other hispanics, Asian with other Asians, etc. They didn't seem to be bothered by segregation they were practicing.
Much as we don't like to admit it we all tend to prefer being around people who are like ourselves.
That is quite true. In high School I used tosit at the "black table" atlunch, but then I started being more militant with my viewpoints, and started sitting at a mixed table.
But we as humans prefer to be around our own. Whether it be ethnicity, race, culture, music, Likes, Dislikes, men, women, fat, in shape, preet, handsome, ugly, etc.
In fact, we at Getbig.com segregate ourselves from those who don't wnat to "Get Big" and those who are not into bodybuilding.
America's segregationist past was built on "I can do this, and you can do shit about it". "You can have your own school, but it will be shitty, yet we will control what you learn, and what books or supplies you get"
