I forgot my water bottle so all i had was my other water bottle full of protein so I drank that during my workout. I felt like a douche but i had no other choice. Honestly though I am so jacked and huge that I wouldn't be surprised to see most of the people in the gym doing the same next week.

I sip a shake with 2 scoops of gatorade, 2 scoops of protein powder, about 5-10 grams of creatine and 5-10 grams of glutamine. After the last set I chug the rest and eat a solid meal within an hour.

Milos always recommended a steady intake of amino acids before, during, and immediately after a workout. Made sense to me . . .

I do - I neglected to mention though that I also have a shake 30 minutes before my workout as well:

1 scoop gatorade, 1 scoop protein, 5g creatine, 5g glutamine

it gives me wicked pumps and my veins really pop out

Would waxy maize starch work as well as gatorade??
I have a tub and a half of it you see,and gatorade isnt common here

I do waxy and BCAA's during my workouts now.  Seems to work good.

Then food or protein maybe 45mins later

Last year when I was paying attention my my nutrition I had 5g creatine,5g glutamine,scoop of waxymaize pre and post workout
Then food or protein maybe 45mins later

I still like to keep my creatine pre and post,  I seem to get the most out of it that way.  The BCAA formula I use has Beta Alanine in it.

Yep that's right!

You should use amino acids like glutamine powder, BCAA powder, liquid amino. And if you mix it with a Gatorade for example, that's tastes pretty good and the sugar in the Gatorade is help you too. More amino acids you'll transport to the muscle cells and it will give you more energy during the workout as well.

is the whey bad for you or is it just a waste?  sometimes on leg day or another day i know is gonna be tough to get thru ill sip on a shake w whey protein (which is supposed to be full of bcaa) dextrose to keep energy level up and beta alanine - bad idea? should i spring for just spring for just straight bcaa powder?
