i'm a real big fan of dennis james.

i think he looks outstanding front to back, top to bottom.

he has oustanding thickness, and in 1 pic looked bigger than coleman ( photoshot in gym in ronnies earlier days).

however i admit his gut got a little out of control in the past few years, and he has never peaked at a show, always looks best a week or 2 earlier.

if he managed to controlled these problems, while bringing the rest could he be mr o?

Incredible upper body in a tank top

his mid section really takes away from his look,

Legs are good, but undersized compared to his upperbody

Fantastic arms, delts and chest

His back was never that impressive and I think his time has come and gone. But yeah, he looked very impressive in those pre-contest tank top pics.

Gym shots.............onstag e was always, unfortunately, a different story.

Kinda like Jay, looks awesome a few days before, then come show time, he slips up.

Dennis has always had a great Pre-Olympia physique. When he got on stage it was a different story. Never came in at the same conditioning. Maybe listening to wrong advice before the show.

dennis was great but he still had high lats and unfortunetly even at his best the midsection was hanging out.
Lack of back detail etc

No, he just has high lats.

Personally i think high lats look good too. Take a look at Wolf, he gets criticised for his back, but in the rear lat spread, he is the widest guy on stage. But the guys with the high lats sometimes lack the back thickness others have.

Wolf looks great despite having high lats because his waist is so narrow, doesn't work as well with James. It's not a huge flaw anyways, dude looks awesome.
