i hear what your saying.... but still i attribute most of that to the way i Train... I'm a honest trainer....  hard work... hark work and consistency in 7 - 8 years the biggest break Ive taken is two weeks...
and i KNOW how to train properly that is key... if you notice im always here asking questions on the training board... Most people arent intersted in the training they are interested in the LOOK

Not saying Mesohorny is on anything but I really can't see how so much growth can come from a restricted diet. Not throwing stones, simply talking about basic physiology. Muscle is a protein and you need certain building blocks to grow it.
one day ill take a pic of the plate of food i eat...
or food is very high in protein.. in fact i cant remember a day ever in my life when i didnt eat meat...

I lot of people will probably disagree but I'd argue training probably only accounts for about 10-15% of how people look. Most of it is genetics then throw in diet, hydration and rest. I'll fully agree that a person can train wrong and also neglect areas that aren't fun like legs.

Still, when it comes to training we need a certain amount of calories. Building muscle takes protein, amino acids and a positive nitrogen balance. It takes between 350 & 500 calories just to fall asleep! Even great genetics can't magically add protein to a person's diet. I'm not saying you're a dishonest trainer. Something in your diet, nutrition or whatever just doesn't add up. Even if you're one of those people with severe BDD that spends 4 hours/day in the gym it still takes a certain amount of food/supps/candy/etc to grow muscle.

It could really come down to being ignorant of and oversimplifying your diet. All the Carrib guys I saw and hung with who were big got most of their calories from whole food, tended to be overly top heavy and had an allergy to the squat rack.

Here's what I'll do. PM me your basic diet and I'll go on it starting next week. It'll be hard because I don't measure food and can't eat onions but curiosity has gotten the best of me.

thats pretty good, actually its a nutritious solid meal.

if only he could eat that a few times more during the day he would make better progress..

you think thats whats on that plate? looks to be about 100-150 carbs depending on how much water was used in the rice

maybe 25-35 grams protein

and probably 20 or so grams of fat

700 or more calories.

There ain't 700 calories on that plate.

1/2 cup rice has 90 cal and that's probably less than 6 oz fried chicken. The useable calories from the salad could be debated all day until someone here points out that humans can't break down cellulose.
