How much protein do you think someone can get from two pieces of chicken on bones?
It seems you missing the point about protein being needed for muscle growth. One cup of cooked white rice has about 4g protein. Start doing the math and you'll see that something just doesn't add up.
There's a damn good chance my understanding of physiology and nutrition are flawed. That's why I'm asking.
People are way too worried about protein
when your calories are sufficient and you eat carbs, the carbs allow the protein to do it's job

5 pounds of muscle = 500 grams of protein... IN A YEAR
