Where to have Blind Date??

Check it.. This girl and I have been matched by a friend. We both know what each other looks like so we are past that hurdle. I'm gonna call her up either today or tommorow to make plans for this weekend. Now I obviously don't want to go to take this chic to dinner on our first meet, cuz we know how that can go. Any suggestions??? Thought about the random coffee shop(starbucks) bs but isn't that a little cliche??

at least a place were you both can pratically be alone with some background music, nothing as fucked up as a place where you have to yell to eachother because of loud music.

Another alternative is to take her to your van for free candy (although this is mainly aimed at younger women aka Vince)

Meet for lunch on a workday.  Not really a "date" though but you both have an excuse to get out of there.  If it is enjoyable, have dinner next time.

An outdoor cafe for lunch (if you're in a warm climate).  If things go really well, you could split up and agree to meet up later for dinner or club.   Biking?  Saturday afternoon bike ride on a lakefront or in a park or on a nice trail... Again, if it went well, you could meet up later.  That way you'd see eachother in a very casual, laid back environment without a huge time commitment.
