age doesn't matter, i have seen many 50 year olds in my university

This = very cool. It = the same in Debussey's areas as well. People past retirement age are signing up for university classes and doing very well. Very cool 8)

It seems like the University system in Scandinavia and US/Canada = structured very differently ;D 8) ;D

And for fucks sake, come on! Economics/Business = not rocket science. If you have a reasonable memory and adequate powers of comprehension, those subjects = not hard.

you are starting to sound like my girlfriend  ;D

then you should be a wine taster  ;D

that's a really good idea

You = preparing to become Debussey's servant.

that's a really bad idea

Hey brah, I hear work stories from friends, how they have to meet deadlines, get yelled at by the boss man, office politics,
and to think thouse sobs studied to do what they do,, HAHAHAHAHA!

yes it's true, office work sucks big time

Certain very smart people spends time finding out what they really want to do in life (which in 99% of the cases means the area(s) where they are most talented), and then goes to school simply to become the absolutely best within this area. Studies have shown that people like this are much more likely to become millionaires than people that studies something they are not very passionate about.

What are they gonna throw at you? Some CAPM models, a little partial derivatives or bandwagon effects? Or perhaps go to the deep end with some "mega advanced" multiplicator models or long term growth shit? :P

I still haven't figured out what I am passionate about in terms of my studies and I have tried out many different things, not very much into my MA even. I have come to terms with that though. I have my passions but I don't think they are especially academic.

you are underestimating the fact that

Economics = most boring subject in history of man kind, I hate that crap  :(
and we have really old and boring professors and attending classes is a pain in the ass most of the time because of that
