FF to 2:15.

First, the camera zooms in on Hogan preparing the props.
Then he can’t light the cotton because it’s probably wet with sweat and Protan.
Warrior sells an invisible fireball that Hogan was supposed to have thrown.
Hogan finally ignites the cotton, but is too slow getting rid of it, so it burns up in his hands.
Warrior stomps out the harmless fire gimmicks like Smokey the Bear.

CLASSIC.

That match he had with Warrior in WCW really stunk up the air. His match with him at WM6 was much better.

^^Definitely.

Maybe they each needed someone better to work with.
I think their WM6 match was better – in part – because that was a time when things like bear hugs, chin locks, and other rest holds were more accepted by fans.

“Character” could draw, and there was much less emphasis on ring skill.
By 1998, fans were already much more demanding of the product.

I always like WWF, even when they were getting killed in the ratings. I really wanted to see this match, it was the first WCW ppv i ever bought.

He cut a promo one time in WCW where he referred to "sittin' in the back, eatin' fruit and being cool" I shit you not, exact words. So lame it was funny.

I thought the cheesiest Hogan moment was during one of the Saturday Night Main Events where he and Macho Man (Mega Powers) were in a match...there had been tension between them...Elizabeth took a "bump" and was, of course, knocked completely unconscious. Hogan carried her to the dressing room, sobbing uncontrollably over her limp body as if she were a dead baby. (Savage was left to fight for himself for a while, and even though Hulk returned and the Mega Powers won the match, the tension was worse, and eventually Savage turned "bad" again, so that he could drop the WWF title back to Hogan at the next PPV).

My favorite Hogan moment was when he slammed Andre the Giant at WM3. Know one expected that.

Many wrestlers from around that time received an entire PPV’s pay for a commercial appearance.
Bulldogs did a potato chip ad and received their PPV commission of $20,000 USD.
Tito Santana & Rick Martel appeared as Strike Force for the same spot the following year, but only received $10,000.

I don’t know if SF was always lower on the pay scale, or did they just receive less for that particular job?

Either way, imagine how much Hogan made for his Cheerios ad!

Ya, I gotta agree with you on thatone. After WM6 and his big loss to the Warrior he started going down hill. They give him the title back at WM7 but only because Warrior couldn't carry the torch. Then he got off the gas and he just wasn't the same. The NWO them in WCW was what brought him back to life for a good change that everyone needed.
