I told him no and that he is not ready besides he needs to finish his schooling (Highschool and college) first before distracting himself with girls/women and this PYT is bringing the funk hard and nasty; I don't think I can compete! I feel like I have given him the right tools for the many crossroads he will come to but attention from an older woman!? I don't think he understands what he is in for at this age!

I need some outside advice on this one.

P.S. The ex (his mom) is encouraging him to accept her pursuit, only because the girl comes from a very very wealthy family in the area.

I think this 21 yr old woman will break his focus and his heart and knock him off course. Damn, he hasn't even made eagle scout yet!

I am terrified!

My ex says I am jealous and of course she said it infront of this young lion  ::)

Any thoughts?

HM,

Has anyone ever won an argument with another man's hard-on?

My advice would be to hit it and get back to business.

Condoms, of course.

Funny you should say that. DGF's brother was going to ask me for dating advice and she said to not waste a call because "Jake's advice is always to hit it". I say "hit them all for the Lord will know his own".

Keeping him away will only make the nectar taste sweeter. Tell him the truth. Just say "YoungHustle, they all got the same thang. If the good Lord made one your johnson bar will fit into, he made a million. Enjoy the chick but handle your more important business".

You're there to teach, HM. Last thing the world needs is more cooterwhipped youngsters. :)

Fella's, he already thinks he has his playa card but I think this 21 year old is too much for him and would break his little heart. Besides she is kinda skanky and I really don't want a skank for an in-law (don't think it would go that far) you know what I am saying?

As a father I worry about when my girls hit the dating age..young guys are all about it. It really depends on the individual and the parenting time that went into his thick, chick craving mind. I would worry about a young woman trying to date a guy who can't even go to the club with her. Maybe she just wants a fwb thing?

As far as the school thing..I know you are not silly enough to think he is still a virgin right? Let say he is...when he gets to college and you can't be there to babysit him..you think he's gonna leave the drunk horny campus girls alone?

When it comes down to it bro, all you can do is tell him your opinion, give him very specific reasons on how you came to those conclusions and hope he makes the right choice. He is at an age where you really don't have much control anyhow, especially if there is good cop / bad cop going on with the parents. He will side with which ever one makes him feel better about his OWN descision. If it were me, I would also sit down with his mother (and hide the "i want to choke the life out of you" tendencies) and explain your side and ask for backup.

He'll more than likely go for it.  I would be more scared of him getting her prego then having to work to support the kid vs going to school....but that can happen with any girl he dates now or later in life. It's up to him to be safe and smart about it.

Good luck.

South Pacific Island Irishman, you are on point and I am picking up what you are putting down. Thanks much for your input. I must tell you that he is still a virgin no joke and so is my 18 year old daughter (in college now) but she is more level headed and not so easily influenced by peers. My son on the other hand is very charismatic and buys into the attention he receives from the many PYTs that know him. And of course he has to impress his friends who seem to live vicariously through him at times ( I think we have all done that at one time or another as teens) anyway thanks for the advice.

Stella, I can barely get him to keep up with the dog I got a month ago lol but I get what you are saying. I constantly talk to my kids about the choices they make and the reprocussions (HIV/AIDS, unwanted pregnancies, etc.)

I think he get's that part but we all know when a young person's sexual switch flips on it takes a army to hold him/her back.

I think my major problem is pushing him away. My kids know they can talk to me about anything and I don't want him to depart from the trust he has in confiding in me. The kid tells me everything (that's how I found out about this relationship) I want to make sure I don't break that integrity and the trust. The ex seems to undermind any advice I give him.

HM (Good DAd bad ex) LMAO! She is so silly!

When my mom was 36 or so she married an 18 year old. I was 11, my brother was 13, sister was 16 which made it very awkward so she moved out. They are still married and he has never worked a day in his life. Maybe he will be his sugar mama?

Thats a little creepy on your mom's part to be honest. Not flaming.. but even as a guy (at the ripe age of 31) I wouldn't have ANYTHING in common with a 21yr old...let alone an 18yr old. My friend Villi and his wife Mary (yes the teacher / student couple in the news a while back)...they seem to be happy and still together (she was his first grade teacher)...but seeing them together is still a little creepy.

I agree, it was a weird situation for sure. I still remember when I was 14 or so I had one particular buddy who was a good looking dude and she would always flirt with him and not subtly, she is a weird woman for sure. She literally has never worked a day in her life, nor has her husband, that to me is also weird. Seems like they would get sick of each other, but he is like 44 now and she is 62 or 63 and they are still together. They seem happy, but I don't spend a whole lot of time with them tbh.

Lol, Doc I can't even stay faithful to a girl for a week at 34 years of age. Not sure what I could tell a 17 year old lol. I started fucking at 12 and it (along with a few other vices ;)) became my lifelong addiction. On a different note, in the past 2 weeks 3 of my good buddies are getting a divorce(one had a kid with his mistress so that's a mess, plus he is worth 8 figures so I am guessing the wife will take him to the cleaners). Anyways, I always wondered when my friends would start getting divorced, we are at that age when people have mid-life crisis' so it was bound to happen, probably more to come. Literally, if I were to pick my 10 best married friends, only 2 of them are faithful to their wives. Why even get married in the first place if you are going to cheat ???

Most don't intend on it...just gets boring, one or the other loses interest...bogged down with life (kids, bills ect..)..someone else shows attention...it feels good..put yourself in a bad situation and shit happens.

More than anything, most are too lazy to make their relationship their main priority. Morality and self control are severly lacking these days. Very selfish people.

I agree with everything you said, also I noticed that the people who got married young(under 25) almost always cheat. They never had a chance to really live, they went to HS, then college then got married. Another thing I noticed is that guys who are not great looking, and then start making good money at 30 or whatever almost always cheat, at least a few of my friends. One of my buddies who is getting divorced is ugly as hell, but he makes about 200 grand a year, so now he is able to get pussy and he takes full advantage of it.
