Iv seen 3 in the past couple days... I keep hearing The Hannity, The Newt, The O'Rilley etc saying torture works... They dont care it is illegal, they just say it works... well post videos of people who actually are IN THE FIELD talking about FACTS...

It may be being used as a distraction, but that doesn't make the topic unworthy. I think the primary use of the distraction here is to put righties on the defensive rather than offensive and to also force neocons in hiding to show their true colors. It's working.

Ah yes..this guy. The folks in the milblogesphere were hot and heavu over this douchbag a few months ago when his book came out. he claimed to be the guy who helped get Zarquwi. He even said he was there. He got crushed. This guy is an anti-war darling. I've got nothing for u Hugo.

Well 04 Major Alexander claims to be or was billed as the "chief interrogator" in Iraq. He's a fucking major..he's not the chief of anything. He was not an intel guy. CAG took down Zarqawi and his location and the intel provided had nothing to do with this guy. Hugo i will get u a link.

I served for 14 years in the U.S. Air Force, began my career as a Special Operations pilot flying helicopters, saw combat in Bosnia and Kosovo, became an Air Force counterintelligence agent, then volunteered to go to Iraq to work as a senior interrogator. What I saw in Iraq still rattles me -- both because it betrays our traditions and because it just doesn't work.

This guy uses a fake name. U don't go from a pilot to an interrogator...thats not even close to how it works. Officers don't conduct interrogations and ones at this level would be conducted by CIA types working with JSOC. There is alot more to it but thats all I can recall. this guy is a fraud or overstating his case to sell books. He was a celebrity to the anti-war left for a bit.
