If you look at it from a natiosocialistic, its American version mind you, point of view... yes.

It always amazed me how utterly un-American the "Founding" Fathers were when judged by today's standards. I mean... saying stuff like "get up get a gun and defend your property" when attacked by the federal government would be considered a MAJOR act of dissent that can land you in the electric chair depending on the state. Partly because the view of the federal government (in The People's eyes) has changed from a re-distributor of national wealth amongst the states to the consolidator of the status quo, and God knows that we do not want to live like Mozambiqueans... the mainstream media sure does a good job of reminding us how "lucky" we are to be walking, I mean driving! around in our oversized SUV, listening to useless gadgets like the iPod or talking to someone on our cell phone about absolutely worthless shit (and possibly causing a traffic accident if you do it while driving).

I say go Karpinski! Hope more people like her have the BALLS (no pun intended) to denounce corruption.

I was being facetious. I've endured many years of being slandered and libeled on these board by stupid, foolish, groupthink pinheads who wouldn't recognize truth if it jumped up and bit them on the scrotum.

It is refreshing to be vindicated by one with unimpeachable credentials.  :)

In fact, ...most of the anti-American rhetoric I hear these days is coming from Americans. Y'all are loud too.  :o
