Interesting. Please write more about this, especially on Zatsiorsky's views vs. other sport-scientists views in the area.

I'm tired of typing. >:(

If you want a real workout, you need to go to CNS failure. Being "tired" = not a good workout. Keep it up sonny, and bring more stuff to the table :o

the "you have to be sore for two days after each workout" is bullshit as well.

Dorian's word does not equal scientific findings. You are making statements without anything but belief.

i am telling you what i have found working for me.. i also don't believe in warming up before every exercise, it's enough to worm up one time before you start each part.. also if you do triceps after chest or shoulders or you do biceps after back, you don't have to worm up before each part, just worm up one time before the whole workout..

print these tips and keep them, they will help you a lot kid..

The BEST way to prevent soreness after exercise is to make sure you warm up and then stretch before exercise and cool down then stretch again after exercise. Just a hint.. ;)

without seeing your body i am sure it's not anything decent!!.. you want to avoid any pain and as it's known "no pain no gain"..

u sound like someone who has not been training very long and in the middle of his pro bodybuilding videos and flex magazine phase.
i bet your still preparing all your rice chicken broccoli meals the evening before and conserving them in tupperwear containers to live just like the pros!! haha.
I actually began to grow when i wasnt that obsessed with bodybuilding "lifestyle" anymore. workouts were simple short but heavy.
and you dont have to go to pain to not get any gain. just make sure you go heavy with ok technique.

kid, i am nearly 30 now.. i train lightly now and mainly at home.. i never cared about the so called wieder's principles.. from my first day i was not taking anything for granted, always had/have to try by myself first and see.. we are not the same, what works for me may not work for you..
