Lamar Gant. Who still holds ( I believe) the world record deadlift of 683lbs @132. I was lifting in the same weight class at the time.
It was a shame about Anthony. I was always amazed at his reverse grip style!!

my old friend Jay Rosciglione from my former gym is one of the all time greats at 165, squatted 765, benched 415 and pulled 695 in the old APF in the mid 90's.

His 910 squat raw and deep is still unbelivable 35 years later. this day he benched 600 and dl 845. all raw. my fav are john kuc john cole and ed coan. |
