I took straight first place votes to win the Men's Open Heavyweight Title at the National Physique Commettee Grand Rapids Bodybuilding Championships last weekend. I also requalified for the national level. Thanks to everyone for there support and help me threw my injury. God bless train hard and smart Joe Leahy....

Your comming in great man! The cuts in your chest are starting to show brotha! Keep reppin man and be smart. Your been here before so visualize the "positive" success you have achieved in the past. My buddy is moving to West Palm Beach do you train at the powerhouse gym with Ahmad Haidar? My buddy is really cool man. You too have to meet. Keep repping man. Ya, I was gonna do the Jr. nationals last year but got hurt. Currently, the economy is killing me so I am thinking about the Northern Americans because it is close to home. Diet, cardio, weights in that order. Peace..

Hey Joe!.....thanks bro!,that Powerhouse is 5-10 mins from my house (i never been there tho as i started at World Gym working for John Defendis/then Marty Vranicar bought that gym and i havent left there in the 4 years we have been living here lol)..... big "bodybuilding scene" down here so it's fun!

always see Ahmad and a lot of IFBB pros in this area out and about (deb lachefski... shit lol i can't spell her last name)
Dareem Charles,Marty, Lee Apperson,DEbbie Kruck,Jimmy Mentis,seen Toney Freeman down her a lot,Paul Baker, etc etc

WOW, that sounds amazing man! I am 36 and looking to make a serious change. I have been in Corrections for eleven years now and am feed up with not being able to lead a healthy lifestyle. I am not allowed to eat properly and the sickness in the prison is just unreal. I have had MRSA twice now and not to mention all the cell rushes, being spit on etc... I am blessed to have a job but I would like to get out from behind the walls sort of speak and get into personal training or something else. Glad to hear you are well. Must be tough training next to top level pro's... Must to cool too!!!!!
