There is this Brazilian guy I am on friendly terms with here, we'll get a coffee every now and then but every couple of weeks he sends me bizarre preaching e-mails...this latest one is the scariest one so far and then when I see him again...he never mentions it...this one scares the shit out of me...should I tell him to stop next time I see him?

It is like staying in front of the judge and saying: “Well, I recognize I have done bad things, but you know, I am human” or
“Well, I do not believe you Judge”.

The fact is that you will face Him, let me assure you that, and I might not fear now, but you will fear Him.

But Dan, there is hope. Not because your are good, just, not even because you deserve it, but because .... let me show in scripture:

and good, upon himself in that cross! Then God executed the punishment that is for you on His Holy and
Begotten Son.

Now then Dear Dan...Repent, yes, repent of all your sins and believe in Jesus who paid the full price for your sins!

Decide, I'm a Christian, but even I wouldn't be comfortable with that approach.
You don't evangelize thru emails imo. If the two of you were able to build a relationship
where you could openly disucss your views on faith and why you believe them is one
thing, but the fact he wasn't willing to have a face to face with you over it shows
some flaws in his character.  His heart may have been in the right place, but he may
have added more offense than necessary.  The Gospel is offensive enough.  Christians do
well not to add to that offense with bad tactics.

I had a surprise evangelism one day partying....few months ago... we had been going all night, bunch of friends at my place hanging out watching movies...we were all coked up and drinking...then one of our new buddies (new to the group) went off on a 3 hour evangelical mission about how in a year or two the world is going to end and we have to pick if we're gonna be on god's side or against him. He went off the deep eend and started rambling on for about 3 hours  about the holy war that will ensue and the angels fighting the devils and so on....We (the normal guys) were all just in a state of disbelief, considerinf it was about 9 am, and we hadn't slept yet, coke was wearing off and this guy was just killing it....freaky experience...no one wanted to tell the guy to shut up cause he was HUGE and JACKED and friends with a lot of bikers...man, I couldn't wait for him to leave...complete buzzkill.
