Uh, That is not me. You must be new here.

I am a Socialist.  I do like Ron Paul`s views on foreign policy and personal Freedom though.  He also has some intriguing ideas regarding debt collateralization.

Yes, because Albert Einstein, George Orwell, Upton Sinclair and Eugene V. Debs were all lazy socialists.

I like Crist.  Sexual preference has nothing to do with policy.  I dont like to see this.

The Republican governor of Florida, Charlie Crist, who is strongly considering a run for Senate, will be outed in a independent film being released tomorrow.

The film, “Outrage,” tracks the outings of prominent gay political figures, such as Crist and former Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman. It’s being produced by Magnolia Pictures and will appear in Landmark Theaters across the country.

“Using some firsthand accounts of former sexual partners, old campaign footage (to occasionally humorous effect) and commentary from gay political media watchdogs, the film makes the case for each man’s homosexuality, and presents his lifetime gay rights voting record,” according to one reviewer. “In each instance, the disconnect is staggering.

“The usual suspects are all there: Craig, Florida Governor Charlie Crist, former New York mayor Ed Koch, former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey, former Rep. Ed Schrock, even dusty McCarthy relic Roy Cohn. Again, if you’re reading this review, then you’re likely no stranger to gay media, particularly gay online media (which is credited in the film as being one of the few places where these scandals are openly discussed) and none of these men is an unfamiliar candidate for speculation.”

240, to your knowledge, has he espoused an anti-gay position?
Has he actively pursued discriminatory policies against gays?

Is Crist another hypocrite?  I don't know his voting record and what he's supported.  If he's not a hypocrite, I agree with you, it shouldn't matter.

I don't know if he's voted anti-gay.  It's long been strongly rumored he did this, but who cares, ya know?  If his voting record proves otherwise (as is probbaly the case by this group outing ppl), I guess it'll be hypocritical.

I like Crist actually.  And I dont know if a lot of ppl here in FL will put his preference above their need for economic help.

You know, Tom Ridge was on MSNBC last night talking about the need for repubs to STOP tossing out every "moderate" repub who has a few liberal positions.  He said that is what is destroying the party.  The base keeps labeling, judging, and rejecting those Repubs who take even a single position outside of the normal, labeling them as unpatriotic, etc.

I think he might be right.

I see people here saying "Screw Crist, screw arnold" because these governors are in near-bankrupt states who NEED handouts (macro welfare) to survive.  And when Crist and Arnold jump parties to run for Senate, you'll say "good riddance".  And soon, you'll have 15% of Americans claiming to be republicans.

You're losing your party because of your intolerance.  Or is Tom Ridge a "lib" for pointing this out?

How can it be hypocritical? He as a representative is supposed to represent his constituents not his personal beliefs. Personally I could care less to be honest what ppl do behind closed doors is their business its when you bring it to the public arena that i have a problem with it, ie gay marriage etc...

I kinda agree with this, the reps need to be more tolerant on certain issues problem is when you give an inch the dems will take a mile so i do understand why but still...

ALSO 240 you really need to stop quoting that ignorant ass poll from the washington post via MSNBC ive seen the polls and dems and reps are losing ppl who align themselves with each party at the same rate, guess where they are going? INDEPENDENT.
