Daly was an excellent coach.  Turned Detroit into an NBA power.  RIP.

basketball sucks.  bunch of black dudes running and bouncing a ball.. back in the olden days, like when the celtics were actually celtic people it might have been fun to watch

I remember he was always got quite a bit of press stating that he was one of the more "stylishly dressed" coaches in the league.

I don't remember too much about him except him sitting on the sideline "coaching" the team in the Olympics. I think I heard somewhere that he never even used a timeout the whole tournament.

Yep, and they beat a very good Lakers team for the title.  Great coach.  Dream Team thing doesn't mean anything.

He was a nice guy, about 15 years ago he was a patient of my Uncles. He wound up showing up to my Aunt and Uncles 50th wedding anniversary party. I had no clue so many Wops liked basketball, but my whole family(like 100 people) were just thrilled to meet him. He seemed like a class act.
