In a nutshell: Conan The Barbarian was delayed in shooting and Arnold needed a goal; a motivation to continue his training - enter the 1980 Mr. Olympia.

and then they audited out 60% of the audience brcause of booing. They never arieed the shiow...thot it ewas fixed.

Same in 81...those tv guys packed their stuff before entrants were off the stage...it was that bnad, and never arired.
