1- According to "The Bible" no woman is supposed to dress in any way to sexually attract men. She went on national TV promoting her body in a sexual manner, half naked to attract men.
If that's your standard, then no Christian woman could go to the beach or pool dress in the bikini she was in. I guess she would need one of those 1920's style body suits. Nor could she dress attractively FOR HER MAN, should they go to dinner or a night out because other guys would look at her in lust. I guess burkas should be the standard Christian attire then. If you look at the context of what was written, it was addressing how women should dress in the presence of other christians, so as not to tempt other Christian men to lust. I guess being on national TV could certainly do that, but as I said earlier, you'd have her in a burka based on your interpretation. But point taken, no need for a woman to be showing all her assets while in church. I'm there asking the Lord to have mercy, not "Lawd how mercayy!!"
2-She got plastic surgery. According to "The Bible", "you are to treat your body like a temple". Surgery for cosmetic purposes (Boob Job) goes against "The Bible" directly.
uhmm, no. Look at the context again. In that passage, Paul is talking about sexual immorality, and that a man should not have sex out of marriage, and certainly not with a non-Christian, particularly, a prostitute. The idea is that since the body is a temple, why join it with a non-believer, who's body is not a temple. I don't see implants as being a defiling of the body, no more than laser eye surgery.
3- Lied in her application. Do I need to explain "The Lie"?
OK true, she did take those pics, and didn't tell anyone. Wrong yes. You want to condemn her for it?
4- She judges everyone who favors same sex marriage. Judging? What would Jesus do? Where in the new test does Jesus mention gay people? Keep searching... he never did...
Judged? She simply stated that for her, she believed marriage was between a man and a woman, just as Clinton, Gore, Kerry, and President Obama did. She didn't say they were immoral, or going to hell. She gave her opinion. Did Perez in turn judge her? Going out on her on his website. Wasn't that even more a judgment, not only of her statement, but her character as a person?
As for what would Jesus do, or what did he say, you are correct, he didn't speak to homosexuality directly, though having said that, for those who believe that the Bible was devinely inspired by him (he's called the Word), he certainly addresses it elsewhere. He inspired Paul to certainly write about it. Again, that is, if you belief the Bible is the Word of God.
Now, do i think any of these things above are BAD? NO, but when she starts preaching the whole "Christian Crap" you better not be a freggin hypocrite!
Christian Crap?.... did you just judge? To hold one to live out each line and letter of a doctrine is not what Christianity teaches. It teaches the opposite that you can't. It's not about our perfection, it's about our imperfection and Jesus' perfection.
That being said, you could say that about any religion or philosphy. Even as human beings, who say there is no God, break their own laws. We'll do things to other people, that we don't like being done to us. Hypocritical, yes.
Busted, no beef with you. Just giving back on an opinion you gave.
