 :D He supports traditional marriage b/c he is a Christian... :o just like miss cali who is being trashed.

Why is there no outrage at him for this from the left?

Why is MSNBC not criticizing him for this?

nobody's calling him a hypocrite, why is that?

Since hugo is the only left leaning person that has addressed this so far i figured maybe some of you guys missed it and id start a thread just for it  ;)

The left seems to have alot of time to spend on miss cali on this subject why not obama?

The left isnt calling him any of those names...refer back to what they are told to do with him...

He's definitely talking out of both sides of his mouth.  Gives lip service to traditional marriage, but wants to do almost anything possible to make homosexual marriage happen. 

I wonder if he'll support "triad relationships" too?

Because we know Obama would have lost millions of votes because a lot of Americans are too stupid to accept gay marriage. (49 percent or so).  Obama did what he had to do to get elected.  Imagine if Obama were to state that he is an atheist.  Think that would go over well with the morons of America?

I am not upset she doesn't like gay marriage one bit... I didn't like how she started preaching her religious nonsense about it... then to find out shes a liar and a hypocrite... Im sure she will be in the GOP before long, another dumb hot chick...

Because Obama is not in a beauty pageant posing for lingerie ads and it wasn't perceived as a politically incorrect thing for him to say it.  Most applauded him saying it because he didn't try to dance around the issue.  Also I don't think Obama didn't state his religious beliefs as a reason for saying it.

Carrie is certainly entitled to her opinion, an opinion that more than half the country shares and shouldn't be trounced.  Many lefties are extremely intolerant to opinions that conflict with theirs. 

Carrie is too 'religious' for my taste but sure is hot.  As someone who agrees with civil unions and gay rights but does not support legalizing gay marriage, even I feel that Carrie may hold some resentment towards gays, as many overly religious people do...but I still support her right to share her opinion as was asked of her.
