combi of both, as long as your low cals consist of high protein and fat.

you have to have a negative energy balance, so low cal is a must, but oly low ca in reference to your calorie output. (negative energy balance)

low carb is good for super fast fat loss, but if you want to be as muscular as possible, you need some carbs in there.

That's about a random fucking question.

Which car do you think will run longer without stopping?  A Vette or a Stang?

What are do the calories consist of in the low cal meals?

How about the low carb meals?

"Better" as far as what? Gaining? Maintaining? Fat loss? actual bodybuilding?

Are there any anabolics involved? Any serious fat-burners? Will you be exercing much?

Low cal is essential, low carb is not.

well the idea is that the human body will not burn body fat unless you are eating fat.... think of it like this.. your body is an engine and if you are giving it unleaded then it will want more unleADED... but if your giving it deisel it will want more deisel.... the keto diet is based off that premise... that if your eating carbs, when your body runs out of carbs it will want more carbs and will use muscle to make those carbs....but if your eating fat and your body runs out of fat, then you body will want fat and use body fat for that energy

not saying that the idea is correct, but just saying that that is the idea

so basically the fuel source that works the best for a cutting diet is healthy fats?

An engine that runs on unleaded cannot run on diesel. But we get your point.
well yeah. i think you just explained why this idea is flawed. a car engine can only operate on one type offuel, but the human body can change from fat metabolism to glucose metabolism very quickly.....and in fact a carbohydrate containing meal will result in hormonal levels that prefer fat metabolism (after those carbs have cleared the blood stream)....

the idea is flawed...   but it can work good because high fats promote good test/cortisol levels... plus generall people consume more protien on hgih fat diets than high carb diets...

No difference between healthy fats or saturated fats for fat loss, just another one of those myths

Low carb can be slightly deceiving, as the water loss in the 1st week can often lead you to think you have dropped more fat than you actually have.
