I beg to differ - a prime Gustavo is a much better (and bigger) bodybuilder than the little midget that is Silvio, who is just a bunch of bodyparts put together in an odd way. Silvio is tiny, but has a gut and has some of the smallest shoulders ever. Plus he looks weird in some poses because of his shape. Him and Hide are probably the most overrated and over-hyped bodybuilders today.

No way dude, I never felt Gustavo was a top 6 guy, let alone 3rd place.  His gut problem is worse than Silvio's, his quads have NO CUTS WHATSOEVER (even in his prime), and his shape isn't as superior at Silvio's.  He's bigger for sure, but Silvio's superior muscle bellies and insane conditioning beat him IMO.  Gustavo's best showing was probably either '04 Mr. O (or even the '04 GNC), but his quality took a dip as quickly as 2 years later.  At least Silvio's arguably gotten better.  But yea, I agree, his structure is weird (long arms, long torso, etc).

But this is all pointless since I don't like either of these guys.

This is the most important factor of the bodybuilding.

Without muscle, you cant count symmetry, proportion nor condition.

bodybuilding is about how muscular you look, not how muscular you are.

dexter looks more muscular than the rest. same with silvio and the guys he beats. being heavy and big doesnt mean you look muscular. bf%, joint size, x frame...etc... these all play a role inc reating an illsuion of bigger muscularity..
