if a person runs from the cops, the cops should have the right to beat the shit out of the person when they catch them.  it will serve as a deterrent for running.

The cop just had a problem coming to a complete stop in time.

The high-five for catching a bad guy was absolutely appropriate to the situation.

What people are saying is that cops for decades have followed strict codes of practice
This guy let his emotions get in the way of those practices.

So whether the guy deserves it is irrelevant. The cop did not do his job properly.

Amazing.......

another example of a cop roughing up a suspect.......granted the guy was breaking the law and could have hurt innocent people.......

but Christ almighty, the guy gives up running, lays down on the ground with his hands and legs spread.....all the cops have to do is cuff him and bring him to the vehicle.....and this cop decides to give him a boot.
