yes
you may even get used to it and feel 'okay'
but your general health will suffer over a prolonged period of time
as will your immune system

You might be able to get it with polyphasic sleep. You'll of course have to take a nap every 3 hours or so and spend months acclimating to the system, but it should be possible.

If it = healthy + good for your social life or not = up for debate.

this would be a personal goal of mine if i beleived it was possible. i somewhat beleive it but it feels a bit distant as a goal for me. i would like to learn the foods or calorie amounts needed to sustain that energy , if you workout or no please state so aswell, these proceedings will take us to a higher level of guesswork/experimentaiton and understanding and self application. if there are not enough credible answers within this thread , ill will justyfy this 4 hour claim by many as false. again u must be able to elaborate in the falcon courts of justice or be considerd a fail-con and handled accordingly by the elders.

a bodybuilder told me he used to take GHB and get by on minute amounts of sleep. Then rapists started using it

  • That's how I roll.
When I was hooked on Roxies I only slept 4 hours a night.  Then when I quit I didn't sleep for almost 7 days.  Insanity at its finest.

Sleep is still largely a physiological unknown. Definitely a realm for the Falcon Institute to investigate.

OP: Look into 'polyphasic sleep".

Someone mentioned something about a businessman doing it. Are you talking about Steve Pavlina? I'm not endorsing him, only mentioning he did something like that once before.
Almost always, yes.

going out having fun=more calories burned/assimilated=more muscle stimuation because you are bearing weight at hours you would normally be sleeping=possibly more ripped too depending upon where calories are at

i know for me if i get home at 4 or 5 im gonna eat cause i had a good night and usualy id wake up early at 9.....then maybe get some work n shit done and feeling like i 'could' lay down for a long nap or possibly stay up provided i drink alot of water and take flex seed ...then push myself to stay up and party another night and try to repeat everyday pushing the limits of my awake capacity.

then the only challenge becomes the workout wich would probably require more calories since id be slightly sleepy during my workouts

if you only get 4 hours or sleep a night it is equivalent to walking around injured, your brain is not fully aware and you will not do the best work you could do if you have gotten more.

4 hours = not enough

You are correct.  I have trouble falling asleep & then I do & I cannot stay asleep.  I usually switch up with Ambien, Simply Sleep or Tylenol PM, Melatonin (9mg) or Sleepytime Extra Tea (2 bags per cup).......just keep in mind that your body will get used to "whatever" eventually.  Precontest is absolute torture but if you really want it, you can do it! :)

Marine Drill Instructors do it for months at a time, and they are constantly running, yelling, teaching, and on their feet with very little food, tons of water and monsters.......

Top ultramarathon runners tend to only sleep 4-5 hours a night so they can fit time in to run. One guy said it took a while too get accustomed to it and until he did he felt like crap.

Also there are buddhist monks who sleep only an hour or two a night. They can do that due to deep meditation.

meditation does not = rem sleep, your body needs more than 4 hrs of sleep a night, 8 is what many scientific studies show, getting any less is only hurting yourself in the end.
