i say high carb, moderate protein, low fat for health.

eat tons of complex carbs. To think people actually followed the atkins diet.. Yes great idea - deprive myself of carbs, and consume all the red meat i want!  Do you know how much easier dietary fat will turn to "fat" on you vs that of converting carbs to fat? the science is so strong on this

And protein, oh brother... I actually used to eat chicken 5+ times a day thinking more protein would mean more muscle. lol

btw, i told you my thoughts about supplements a while back. Hows that hydroxycut working out for ya?

Fat is not unhealthy per se.
The calories from carbs will make you just as fat as those from fats.

that is not a good diet for health. for muscle? sure. helth? no. carbs arent health, not even "complex", "whole grain" carbs...    fats and proteins and veggies and fruits(dont consider them a carb in the traidtional sense) are healthy.

about 1 gram of complex carbs per lb of body weight. all LOW GLYCEMIC CARBS, oatmeal, apples, oranges, beans,bannanas.  for protein, about 1.5 grams per lb of bodyweight. mostly from whey isolate, chicken, fish and whole eggs. fats are mainly from the protein sources and maybe from some peanut butter pre-workout if im hungry. easy to stay lean this way.

Had a tube of pringles and a tub of dip + some rootbeer. I was asleep on the sofa within 1/2 hr. Like a knockout punch.
