At 1:10 Ronnie's MM is off the chain

. 10 years later, and the physiques today are booty...I bet the last place finisher at that GP could have won the 2009 NY Pro.

How come bbing now suck ? I mean I know lighting back there was different but if you look at the video Wawoo Flex, Ronnie, Nasser, Kevin, Rhul they all look phenomenal !!!

I was most impressed with Ronnie, he just looked great. Although he did have gyno when he raised his arms, but in everything else he looked incredible.

Dexter hasnt improved much in 10 years.

Dex has used the the Shawn Method of slow progression adding small increments of weight over time, it's the method that Flex Wheeler should have used. Dex over time went from 205 to 230ish ( if you believe he was 230), but since he did it slowly, you can only see the progession thru photos over time.

Just like Shawn Ray, woh went from 201.5 pounds at his first Mr. O to 205, then to 215-218 pounds the last time he ompeted.

Wow, bodybuilding has really gone downhill since those days.

Flex's arms look insane, Ronnie's conditioning (esp. in the legs) is unreal. All three look amazing.

Flex had crazy small joints. Just look at the sweep on his thigh

But you can clearly see he's got a film of water compared to Ronnie's who's bone dry in comparison

80 and 90's are the golden era of bodybuilding, and also powerlifting.
powerlifiting had gone bad too since, half squat, belly bench, multi ply-gear.

it's time to come back to basic.

90 for ever.

haha thats actually true. it gives you the illusion of "grainy" physiques.
