He really does, clear cut winner IMO and I was there.

Although I thought Hide looked awesome and shoulda been 2nd or 3rd

This isn't the first clip I've seen of him onstage...he doesn't know how to dominate the stage. I like Evan as a person and respect his approach toward the sport, but there's just something lacking with his physique. I don't see him ever challenging Phil Heath or Dennis Wolf. He's good, but I doubt he will ever be great.

I must be missing something because everyone seems to agree that Evan deserved his win last night. While I am happy for him, I just don't see what all the hype is about. He just doesn't have the WOW factor that one would expect given all of the hype. Maybe he has the same problem as Cormier (not that he is anywhere near Chris yet) in that he is complete and has good structure so nothing jumps out.

Thanks for posting the vid - I was hoping that seeing a vid would show why everyone is so high on this guy, but it really doesn't for me. Ray, Dorian, Branch, and Flex all agreed that he is awesome so maybe its just seeing it in person.

i have to agree with you, he doesn't have the phil heath wow factor, just a have very well balanced phyique, but thats about it $:-\$

Yep, its that he is very balanced with a great shape and no major flaws. Agreed, he doesn't have the wow factor but is very similar to a Cormier.

Thats not what he MaTT is saying. Evan does have good shape...balance...cuts.. .ect.

But I think what MaTT is saying is that the winner of a professional bodybuilding contest should have that freaky 'wow factor'.

Evan doesnt have it yet. But there again, neither did Cutler or Coleman when they were rookies.
