{giggle} There might be some truth in that clip, ...HOWEVER, that doesn't mean we should rush forth headlong down a path that we KNOW is destructive. We may not be able to "Save The Planet", ...but we can refrain from doing our best to destroy it, and at least be responsible when it comes to what we do to and how we interact with other life forms on the planet.
The point is: the planet is going no where - Humans are in - VERY LARGE NUMBERS - there is a flood coming.
Ever-thing that we will have left behind came for the planet in the first place & she will re-claim it.
Ashes to ashes - dust to dust.
The Vedic Viewpoint & Other Spiritual PerspectivesFirst of all we have to understand that we are not these bodies. We are eternal spirit souls, part & parcel of the
'Supreme absolute' , also known as
'Brahman' Krishna, Jehovah, Yahweh , Allah, Vishnu, etc. We never die, only the body dies.
The subtle body consists of the soul, false ego, mind & intelligence - or lack of it. That is what goes with us when we so-call die.
The
Bhagavad-Gita, which is the essence of all
Vedic literature & the spiritual "how to book" for all time, says; "What ever one contemplates at the time of death, they are sure to attain."
End of argument.
