Compare these two pics.  Ronnie looks more freaky, but Dorian is much more balanced and symmetrical and IMO takes the pose

Ronnie doesn't have better shape, taper, symmetry, or balance in that FDB comparison.  He is bigger, yes, but that is about it.  His forearms and calves are too small for his bi/tris and quads, and his stomach and waist detract from the pose.

I agree, Ronnie did not deserve the win in 02.  I would say he didn't deserve that win any more than Dorian deserved his 97 win.
