The faster you go the greater the potential for an accident, all those with an IQ above 100 can figure that out, it's a shame your IQ isnt that high.
True, but speed doesn't kill, it's our lack of adaptation to speed that kills. For instance in the early 20th century, it was said that 25 mph was way too fast for cars, people were getting woosy at that speed!
But think of it like this, If cars were just invented on Friday, and the laws for it were hammered out on Sat, who in their right mind would think that driving at 40-65 mph with only a double yellow line or a island seperating oncoming traffic would be safe?
