No way. Arnold had much better symmetry and his muscle bellies were much fuller. He was also much more pleasing to the eye.

it's very hard to say because you can't imagine how someone like scott would have looked like if he came in the 90s or so.. anyway i believe it's:

He had a better back and aesthetics. He also had more charisma than anyone who's ever competed in this sport. He would have charmed all of the judges, just as he did back in the 70s.

No. They have different structures and Arnold has better shape. Arnold would be mutant if he took todays drugs.

Yates wouldn't even compete if he did not know he could win the show....so placing him outside the top 2 is laughable. Coleman and Yates would be battling it out for 1st.

im not sure how anyone in their right mind can place ronnie coleman anywhere but a very resounding and deliberate first, ronnie in his prime, took his body to a level no man on earth has yet to rival...so by that fact alone, he has to place first on the list...it matters not that arnold was "charming", or that your a white guy and you like dorian because you like to see white guys do well in a sport dominated by black men even though they represent probably 2% or less of the total amount of bodybuilders in the entire USA, hey no one wants white guys to do well more then me, but thats not objectivity. it is not even a contest, the difference between ronnie and the next guy...is as profuondly striking as between say...lee haney and larry scott...and no one before or since has even come close, end of story.

there is debates like this daily on here, and unless you are judging with your emotions and not rationality...i do not understand how anyone can say "so and so" is better than ronnie coleman...and im not even particularly a ronnie coleman fan.

Even Arnold admits peaked Ronnie was untouchable.

Arnold in particular knew how to position himself so that no one could compete. Ronnie's genetics (+Chad's) did it for him.

Some good posts there. I have been front row, press pit and backstage at many Olympias and arnold. I have had every mr olympia since haney guest pose here, have promoted for 21 years.

Let me say it again, no one comes close to Ronnie at his best, no one! In 2003 he raised the bar to a new untouchable level, he even told me that he could not beat that 2003 version. G.O.A.T.

Any one who says different does not know bodybuilding.

Dorian was incredible and raised the bar in his time but Ronnie took it to a whole different level!
