Gov. Palin vetoes $28M in federal stimulus money

Gov. Sarah Palin on Thursday became the only governor to turn down federal stimulus money for energy efficiency, a move that legislators called "disappointing" for a state with some of the country's highest energy costs.

In announcing the veto of $28.6 million in funds, Palin said she wouldn't accept money tied to adoption of building codes by local governments.


They don't worry about things like building code up in Alaska.  You betcha.

LOL notice how 240 didnt start a thread about the dismissal of the complaints regarding to the clothing during the campaign?

I find it hard to believe he didnt see it, it was on MSNBC and FOX and he seems to find every other misc. palin piece?

I think I figured out their strategies. They'll refuse the money... allowing everything to go down the pooper,
...so their constituents will be really behind the 8 ball, ...and they can call Obama the big bad boogey man who was supposed to change everything, ...but look, ...they're even worse off than before. That's got to be it.
