If Dana was such a good friend he would just respect Chucks privacy. Dana makes it sound like he owns him.

Chuck will decide when he is ready to retire. Dana has absolutely no control of that.

I also laugh that Dana said he was selling UFC 97 as a retirement fight for Chuck...that is B.S!
All he said before the fight is that Chuck better 'wow' him if he still wants to fight.

With his refelxes and timing going, can he afford to wait.  Escpecially since training with Howard Jackson did little or nothing for his striking.

I really like what Dana has done for the UFC.....

But it is stuff like this that really makes him seem like he wants to be more like a mob boss than
the president of a professional sports organization.

He lost a ton of my respect in the way he handled Chuck. Even if they were not friends, Dana had no right to publicly bully a guy like Chuck. Chuck has always shown nothing but respect to the UFC and it's fans. He's not a Tito. Let Chuck announce it.

That is the reason Fedor would like us to believe.

Dana/UFC can give him more money, better sponsors, and a bigger stage to show his skills.

Would the control be all that bad ::)

If he was fighting top competition he wouldn't have time for it.

lol top competition. the best hw in the ufc is a vanilla gorilla with a record of 3-1

i think fedor would add some spice in the ufc hw division, i wish fedor and dana would come to a agreement cause theres a few good fights id like to see
