I agree that in some cases genetics play a role..but it takes dedication to be good at it. Maybe it's a double edged sword? Can't be "the best in the world" without having a combo of both but some could get damn close.

I don't know why it makes some people so insecure to mention the OBVIOUS, when it comes to athletics, yes, genetics IS THE key; sure hard work and dedication will be a differentiating factor for the top say .01% percent but all the work in the world isn't going to make much of a difference to an average or below average person like yourself.

Use common fucking sense, do you really think if daddy would have taken you to more basketball camps you'd be lebron james or kobe bryant.

i ment different types of builds as in they don't all have the same type of builds. some tall, some short, different proportions etc.

That's not true.  Most pro basketball players are very tall.  Most horse jockey's are tiny tits.  Most pro football linebackers are pretty huge.  And most gymnasts have a similar body structure.
