Lifting videos on Youtube
« on: May 27, 2009, 06:10:18 PM »
This is not me being a hater etc

BUT....

There was a tiome when I would have stopped and looked in awe at a 400lb bench press. However because of youtube I feel desensitized to HUGE lifts. It gets to a stage now I wont bat an eyelid at a 1000lbs squat on youtube or go out of my way to watch it. Maybe a WR or something. Because I have seen it so often on video

So fuck you youtube for stealing my 'awe' at HUGE lifts. Sometimes I think it was better in the old days lol

That's why people claim Layne Norton's 660 deadlift isn't that impressive when Johnnie O. Jackson - the strongest bodybuilder to actually prove his claim in a competition - only did a little over 100 pounds over that in contest.  :P
