I don't think Vienna is that great at all. Way too much Gsindl and Sauproleten for my taste. But maybe all the other cities are even worse, who knows.

Auckland is a shithole

Even a lot of Kiwis feel that way. It's not even the most beautiful city here in NZ and parts of it need a lot of work, but it's the busiest, most versatile part of the country and has access to just about everything. And land is just too damn expensive out here.

when I stayed there I just thought it was grotty and messy etc,, but as far as getting everything I wanted to get done and efficiently it was good

D'dorf sucks if it wasn't for a few good japanese restaurants.

Important criteria are safety, education, hygiene, recreation, political-economic stability and public transportation.

I can't see why Tokyo didn't make a top spot, cleanest city, safe, superb pt, nice people etc.

I guess but imagine Beijing were a great city (which it is not) and you didn't speak Chinese, would you feel good or comfortable there?

I've never been to Tokyo but from what I hear it isn't too different from Seoul which=not so good for me.
