Just now I was watching the last semi final of Britain's Got Talent and who did I see but non other than Leroy Davis (Dorian Yates' ex training partner). His son was on the show doing a breakdancing act and he made it through to tomorrow's final. For any Yates fans who are interested, watch tomorrow's show to see Leroy (now known as Lee) as his son could go on to win the final and end up performing in front of the Queen of England.

I think his son stands a good chance of winning overall. He was one of the better acts to make it through to the final IMO and he is just 12 years of age. A similar kind of dance act won last year's show but something tells me a singer will probably take it this year. Simon Bowell needs his wages at the end of the day and a dance act winning again could cause a serious pay cut.

There is a signed contest photo of Leroy on the wall of the gym I train at in London (very impressive). I remember reading about his contest win in Muscle News in the mid-late 90s. I still have the mag I think somewhere.

Anyway, sadly his son didn't do so well in the final of Britain's Got Talent the other night. But after reading all the stories in yesterday's newspapers it looks like the selection process isn't all that legit. Apparently the most successful acts are hand-picked by Simon Bowel and he is good friends with some of them. But having said that, the best act won. I just hope they don't bother bringing back the show next year and the same goes for the X Factor too.
