I thought about getting a pair for my house. Do they feel any different than the regular dumbbells? Any balance issues? I have used them before but it's been a really long time.

no issues for me, they feel the same pretty much, no balance issues

The ones in that pic are 200's.. Our dumbbells go up to about 400 pounds each..

36 -38" sounds about right for a 400lb. DB. Figure 5" for the grip, .75"ish for each plate, plus a little for the end caps/nuts
