GM selling Hummer to China-based company

China or the Chinese having a growing dominance within the US is inevitable... all countries on the planet in fact.

During the last huge recession in the early 90's... it was the Chinese Hong kong ex pats who pulled us out of it.
Just look at their population. That and the fact that their baby boom started a few years after North America's. While we and our economies are declining, the Chinese population and economy are still on the rise.

Besides... it's Hummer.  Be grateful someone is willing to take that rolling POS off your hands.

Despite what any of the xenophobes here may think of China taking Hummer of GM's hands it is for the best.

Hummer is a shit brand and way past its sell-by date. 

Re-skinned Chevy Tahoes (H2) and Chevy Colorados (H3) do not make a premium product. The Hummer line up is dog shit and old technology, ridiculously styled not to mention shit build quality.  The fact that ANYBODY was willing to buy this life-support brand is a godsend for GM.

General Motors needs to focus on building a Camry or Accord competitor and get away from oversized SUVs....the marketplace has changed and the Americans are lagging behind the rest of the world.
