arggggg my toe is in pain-cardio induced...help me

hello

a little while ago i paid off my credit card debt...finally...so i went and bought these really nice sneakers ive wanted cuz im doing lots of cardio to get my beach body

well they seemed to fit great-but ive noticed past 2 days my left big toe seems cramped in the shoes...and feels very sore now

my left big toe is bright red and very sore to the touch
i thought maybe if i took a fork and pricked it a bit maybe some fluid would drain, but i couldnt get a hole in the skin.

what is going on?

As your life coach, I would recommend taking the shoes back and get a size bigger, sounds like they are too small.

And don't poke a hole in your toe, you'll get an infection!!

Gene, I usually buy my sneakers in a size larger than my other shoes.  This way my toes have plenty of room to stretch out and relax.  I also buy them in Wide.  You may want to try this.
