Yeah but a big size difference between League & Union compared to NFL. Willie Mason is one of the bigger guys in league and he is only 6"4 and 115kgs and I would hardly call him lean. Much bigger, stronger and faster guys in NFL. If the NFL guys wore no pads the ball carrier would get put in hospital everytime they got tackled....

True there are bigger guys in the NFL, but the big guys don't do jack shit. The big boys in League/union are still running all over the place, taking hit ups, making tackles and following play. Too much aerobic endurance required in league/union to justify guys being 120kg+.......

I assume you mean moot, not mute....but anyway. My point, which you weakly tried to dispute, is that the games held overseas were attended very well. And don't even try to act like it was all Americans abroad filling up Wembley, or the games in Germany.... it's all about exposure, just like the NBA is gaining in popularity worldwide. I've stated it over and over, the reason soccer is so popular can be traced to how cheap it is, in comparison to other sports, so every third world country has a lot of participation which equals popularity. Europe clings to it, because it's one of the few sports you are good at. Thankfully, it will never be as popular in the states because we have numerous sports that are vastly superior to it.

true. i dont care much at all for sports. however i have played all of them, pretty much, except cricket... and the funnest sport to play, in my opinion, is american football.. if you have access to helmets and pads and a feild.. you should try it sometime. it really is very fun.

Take the best LBs, Free and strong safeties, RBs, Corners, Receivers and TEs and have them line up against and hit the best rugby players without pads, and most of those rugby players will get put on their asses.

If the best rugby players were better athletes, they'd be over here playing in the NFL and making millions. Don't say it's not possible either because it can be done. A superior athlete like Antonio Gates picked up football after playing college bball and is now a pro bowler.

i don't know much about fighting but in boxing you are very restricted in what you can do, in UFC you can do anything, punch, kick, take someone down to the ground, in other words a real fight, unlike boxing, and the white man reigns supreme in UFC(real fighting)
